Improve Buy-In To Your Decision-Making With The POWER Model

I wrote this communication model a while back to codify how I went about getting buy-in to decisions and strategy. I made a few mistakes in my time as a leader before I realised you have to bring people with you. Inclusion and transparency are fundamental to getting buy-in.

Like most leadership models, it's common sense but not commonly applied. You'd be surprised how many leaders I coach who miss out these steps and then struggle to get buy-in to their ideas. The beauty of it is that it’s easy to remember.
